LHS MTAP Team Advances to Area Finals

The Lagro High School Math team grabs its Overall 2^nd best Performing school for 2 succeeding years in the Metrobank MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge Team Eliminations held last Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the San Francisco High School.

Students and Teams from different schools from Quezon City gathered at the said venue to compete for their spot for the Team Orals Area Finals and Regional Individual Finals.

Lagro High School gathered all second places for each Year-level Team Elimination for the Category A.

“We’re happy, because even though we didn’t had enough preparation for the eliminations, since our original trainer, Mam. Licerio, had her surgery, we’re still able to qualify for the next round.” Alexis Glenn Espina, one of the 4^th year contestants said.

Individual rankings and scores are still unavailable.

The Area Finals will be held at the Quezon City Science High School Audio Visual Room on the second week of February and the Regional Individual Finals will be held at Stella Maris College on the first week of February.
