LHS SPA music choir hit the right notes to stand-out and bag first place in district competition for the annual Voices: Chorale Competition.

The SPA Music choir is composed of 25 students from different year levels. They competed in the high school category along with other different schools in Quezon City last December 21, 2012. Two teams competed for the elementary level, four teams for the high school level and one for the community based groups. They won first in the district eliminations and were able to compete for the finals. All the competitors are required to use the songs: Payapang Daigdig, Isang Dugo, Isang Lahi and Isang Musika. Their choice-piece is Simbanggabi. Their trainers are Mrs. Jeanette Kristen Agustin and Ms. Jezaniah Burce.

The theme for this year's competition is "Himig Kapaskuhan, Tinig Para sa Bayan."

Voices: Chorale Competition is a project from the Office of the Vice Mayor, Hon. Joy Belmonte of Quezon City. It is on its third year and serves as a showcase for the musical talent of Quezon City citizens.
